From time to time, Ms. Warren needs time away from the painstaking work on larger original works being created for her commission clients.

This break helps her see the current piece with fresh eyes, and offers her an opportunity to undertake and complete a small piece within a period of a day or two.

The concepts for these small, spontaneous pieces are the result of her imagination, supplemented by recent birdwatching outings.  They are frequently the precursors to her future major works.
